WI Rental Assistance Program (WRAP)

SWCAP recently learned we will be receiving Wisconsin Rental Assistance Program (WRAP) funds through the CARES Act. The purpose of these funds is to help those who were negatively impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling to pay rent or security deposit. The SWCAP program will provide funding to eligible individuals residing in the Wisconsin counties of Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland.

SWCAP is now taking Wisconsin Rental Assistance Program (WRAP) funds to help those negatively impacted by COVID-19 and are struggling to pay rent or security deposit. Please fill out the online application form

In general, an applicant must be an adult resident of Wisconsin, with a household income at or below 80% of the county median income in the month of the application or the prior month. For those eligible, the program may provide direct financial assistance for rent owed and/or security deposits. The program will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and the program will expire once CARES funding is exhausted.

We are excited and relieved to have these funds available to eligible residents of Southwestern Wisconsin.
